Registration

  • Registration and ticket purchase for the conference take place through an online system.
  • Filling out and submitting the registration form is considered an order and entails a payment obligation.
  • The Organizers reserve the right to decline certain registrations at their discretion.
  • Registrations are processed in the order of receipt and will be confirmed by email from the Organizers.
  • Payment can be made in two ways: either immediately by credit card at the time of registration or via bank transfer based on a pro forma invoice sent after registration.
  • One ticket is valid for one participant only and cannot be shared among multiple attendees.
  • The video conference link is non-transferable, and participants acknowledge this.
  • The Organizers reserve the right to cancel a participant’s registration if they violate the “Terms and Conditions” or the Code of Conduct, or if their behavior disrupts the event, other participants, sponsors, or organizers. In such cases, the participation fee will not be refunded.

Invoicing

  • If bank transfer is selected, a pro forma invoice will be sent to the billing and/or registration contact email address provided during registration. Once the payment is received, an advance invoice will be issued, followed by a final invoice after the event, in the format specified during registration (by post or electronically).
  • If credit card payment is selected, an advance invoice will be issued for the amount paid, followed by a final invoice after the event, in the format specified during registration (by post or electronically).
  • The participation fee for the Workshop Day and the first conference day includes lunch and coffee breaks, which will appear as a separate line item on the invoice as a mediated catering service. The associated taxes are borne by the participant.
  • If the participation fee is not paid, the Organizer may deny the participant entry to the event.

Event Cancellation, Changes, and Refunds

  • The Organizers reserve the right to change the venue or program.
  • The Organizers also reserve the right to cancel the event. In such cases, any paid participation fees will be refunded. However, participants may not claim any further compensation or damages from the Organizers.
  • Purchased tickets can be modified or cancelled free of charge under the following conditions:
    • Conference tickets can be cancelled until October 20, 2025.
    • The “All-Inclusive Hybrid: Workshop Ticket + 2-Day Hybrid Conference Ticket” can be modified to the “All-Inclusive Online: Workshop Ticket + 2-Day Online Conference Ticket” and the “2-Day Hybrid Conference Ticket” to the “2-Day Online Conference Ticket” until October 20. In this case, the price difference based on the original purchase price will be refunded to the participant/purchaser.
    • Upgrades from the “All-Inclusive Online: Workshop Ticket + 2-Day Online Conference Ticket” to the “All-Inclusive Hybrid: Workshop Ticket + 2-Day Hybrid Conference Ticket” and from the “2-Day Online Conference Ticket” to the “2-Day Hybrid Conference Ticket” are also possible until October 20. In these cases, the price difference based on the current ticket prices must be paid to the Organizer.
    • Unfortunately, cancellations after this date cannot be accepted, but participation rights can be transferred within the same company.
    • If you wish to modify or transfer your ticket, please notify us of the changes via hello@budapestbi25.com.
  • As Organizers, we are committed to the health of our speakers, participants, and colleagues. Therefore, we reserve the right to move any in-person events (such as the Workshop Day or the on-site conference day) to an online format in response to changes in public health conditions. In such cases:
    • Tickets granting on-site participation will be converted into online tickets, and the price difference will be refunded.
    • If a participant does not wish to attend the Workshop Day and/or the first conference day in online format, they may cancel their participation free of charge by the deadline specified in the Organizers’ notification.

Media, Photography, Filming, and Livestreaming

  • During the conference, the Organizers will take photographs and video recordings in which participants may appear and/or their voice may be audible. The Organizers are entitled to use and publish these recordings without compensation. If a participant does not wish to appear in such materials, they must notify the Organizers in advance.
  • Making any other video recordings or live streaming the conference without permission from the Organizers is strictly prohibited.

By submitting the registration form and purchasing tickets, the buyer (registrant) accepts the above terms and conditions.
